An Unusual Landscape - All Media Contest Entry
I wasn't sure if what was required was a strange depiction of a landscape or a 'strange' landscape. As all manmade landscape is strange, as it follows the personality of the architect, hence there is any variety of strange buildings, especially in a small country like England / you should see some of the weird entities we have in Sheffield, nicknamed egg-boxes etc which cost huge amounts of money/ to be seen all around the country, so rather than focusing on one, I decided on my journeys. Until mum became a widow and son became very sick, I lived in London, and regularly visited my parents. What do you do on a bus journey, but draw, so I have numerous pictures of the journey from London and back down again, some countryside, are they natural? Not really, ploughed fields and passing through cities!
