We have had unusual weather for Alaska, we normally have snow for Halloween, our first snow was in mid November, it only lasted for a few days, it warmed up and melted, then it got cold and we got more snow, and again it just lasted for a few days, warming up and melting again. well I think winter is finally here, as it snowed every day since the Dec 1, this is Eklutna Tailrace , about 23 miles north of Anchorage with fresh snow., I like the mist rising from the water. This water never freezes, it?s warmed by a power plant.
