My 9pm arrival flight just missed the bus by five minutes, honestly. Serves me right for going for the cheaper flight. So I sat all night, taking a few pictures, eating everything I had with me, and walking around till 9 am. You know what, they should hire out air mattresses for one night at airports, as this has happened to me so often. £20 a night and half returned when you bring the mattress back! I heard an amusing remark though, whilst waiting once at Alicante.. ''it was nothing more than useless mudflats before, who would have thought the English would go mad for our Spanish sun, as they have!'' - it struck me as I don't like the hot sun and cannot venture out in it but I do see lots of unusual films when there around lunchtime.
