Whispering Giant In Alaska

The trail of the whispering giants is a collection of sculptures of Hungarian born, Peter Wolf Toth. He created one in each of the 50 states and several in Canada to honor Native Americans. This is the one he did here in Alaska, located in Valdez. This is 25 feet high carved from a Sitka spruce tree. These were done in 1981. This was earlier this summer on our trip to Valdez.
