While on a trip to the West, we went up the Oatman highway. At the time, it was our first trip in our motor home, and we knew nothing about that highway. The Oatman highway was NOT designed for motor homes! It is full of hairpin turns, and blind curves. And steep drop offs. It was a hair raising ride, but we stopped at the Hackberry General Store, one of the oldest remaining ones on old Rt. 66. It was here that we saw this old car. The Oatman highway is the last 30 miles of RT. 66 in Arizona, and is quite colorful, ending with the donkeys in Oatman, but that is another picture! I loved this old car, and thought about how many trips someone must have taken in it. I hope you enjoy it.
