Today she reminds herself of how far she has come and how well she is doing. Even if it feels like no one else notices, that doesn't matter because she has changed for her own well being.
Beauty found her because her heart attracted it. Her self-talk is positive and negativity has no part in it. She knows she is not perfect but her eyes are on the goal to betterment and wisdom will come in the long run.
There are other women she is tempted to compare herself to but she knows there is only one who looks back in the mirror come nightfall she has to answer to!
She is a joy to herself and that is finally okay! Seriously. She can laugh when no one thinks her jokes are funny. She can go to a movie alone. She likes her own company. Yet she is humble enough to know she can learn and grow because of someone who is farther along.
