I was born in Poszon /which was renamed Bratislava after it was given to the Slovakians as a present from the allies- the victory of the brothers slav= what victory, the allies, English Americans and French gave the Slovakians it and a huge chunk of our lands/ It was Hungary from time immemorial. All those who were not Czechoslovakian citizens were forcibly deported that is 48,000 hungarians most sent to the Transylvanian mountains with just a handbag. In our family that was my mum, my brother and I, but others in the family stayed and some left in the 60's for USA, Canada and Australia on their own.
