Traditional Artwork of the Month Contest Entry

This is a picture of my first watercolor painting. I had wanted to try it, and decided to do this one with watercolors and mechanical ink pen to create a botanical look. I did it for my sister, who loved butterflies and especially monarchs. She was a member of several butterfly groups and when she was healthy, participated in the monarch count during migration. I hope you will enjoy this.
