This cultivated Iris was the first of our blooms to open. Never seen this particular variety before. It wasn't a bright sunny morning. The overcast was variable and with a little patience a decent light level could be had. The treat was the left over dew - just delicious. The tripod was a stable platform and the wireless remote shutter trigger assured no cardiac motion. I was very happy with DOF @ f/14 it got blossom in fine focus and the unopened blossom just a tad soft. That way the full blossom keeps center stage. Fine way to spend a morning... Bob
