I first got into photography in the early 70s with a Nikkormat FTN. I did my own BW developing and some Cibrachrome as well. In the 80s life caught up to me and everything slowed down - still snapping family/scrapbook type shots. I am now retired (Civil Engineer) and thought I would try and get back into photography as a serious hobby. I took a Photoshop beginner course, purchased a Nikon D80, bought a 24"iMac with 2 ext HD, Epson R2880 printer (which doesn't get nearly enough use), and play (not well) with PS CS3 and LR2 - now LR4. My lenses are Nikkor 18-70 (3.5-4.5), Nikkor 70-300VR (4.5-5.6), Nikkor 50 (1.8), Nikkor 35 (1.8), and Sigma 18-200 OS (3.5-6.3). I also have something called a Crystal Vision Converter with Macro (0.5x) which has never been used. I recently purchased a SB600 Speedlight and a Vanguard 264AT tripod which had better start getting more use. I have never taken a photo course - they are extremely difficult to come by in my locale (unless you are a raw beginner and want to know what aperture does). I also have a small scanner and hope to scan many of my old slides - when I get time. That's about it. Suggestions on anything welcomed...
Update - D7100 and Nikkor 300mm f4 AF-S now in my possession. Software now PS CS6 and LR 4.4.
