Self taught artist working in traditional art. I like to play with traditional art by adding a twist, such as my Figurative Anime among other idea. I normally draw using graphite pencils but more recently I have had a great desire to create my own method, hence: POWDERING. In 'POWDERING' I paint with dry powder using a normal paintbrush and a stretched canvas. It has been a painstaking process and each piece is time consuming due to the blended techniques I use. A multitude of layering is needed to achieve the desired effect. I use a variation of hatching and cross-hatching, among a few other secrets I have gleaned from the process. I love to be challenged so much of my artwork is a big unusual. I do enjoy working on traditional figuratives as well though. I hope you enjoy the assortment of works I have created. Silver
