Outstanding is the first thing that comes to mind ! It's such a pleasure to view your work, Natalie is a beautiful girl with beautiful curly hair ,I like the way she wears it pulled back off of her face, her face is so well rendered with such well defined shape and facial features, I especially like the way you have posed her with her head slightly tilted, I see she has a lip ring and two floral tattoos.
Well shown top and sweater and I like that this is completed in the monochrome .
I can't even imagine what it would be like to loose a child, that makes me so sad to think that her mom has lost two.

Linda I did not have to read your notes to fully understand the degree of affection you have for this subject or to better appreciate the talent you posses. Because the evidence of the preceding statement is blatantly on display in this remarkable and exquisite portrait.
The subjects facial features, head and torso are all anatomically and correctly proportioned. But what sets this piece apart in my mind is the subtle use of shading on her face. Also the attention to little things like a wisp of hair that refuses to cooperate set this piece head and shoulders above many others.
Everything you know and/or believe about her is visible to me in this portrait. I see an inner strength of purpose. I see determination tempered by love and respect. I see a young person who respects others as well as herself.
I could go on for a few more paragraphs but I think you got the point that I like what you have created.

Thank you. Yes i did a drawing of each of her lost children. I lost two daughters, so i understand the horrible pain.
